I need to find an mp3 cutter to cut parts of mp3’s, or to create ringtones. I’ve found some that mess up the original one or it records something over it. Thanks!
if you use itunes, find which part of the song you want to cut into a ringtone, right click, and set start/stop times in options (it wont mess up the original song, i promise!). test the song to see if that is the length you want, and the right part of the song, then right click on the song in itunes and click "create mp3 version". it will create a copy of the shortened version of the song. play that one to see if it works. if it does, then go back to the original where you changed the times and uncheck the start/stop boxes in options. now you have the original song unedited as well as your new ringtone. as long as your phone can use mp3 ringtones, then it will work.
