  • How can you rip an MP3 using itunes that plays really loud on a shuffle?

Posted by admin on August 15th, 2009 and filed under mp3 | 2 Comments »

When I use itunes to rip my cd’s to MP3 they play too soft on my shuffle. I have tried changing the settings for bit rate and stereo choice but it doesn’t make them loud enough. I have other MP3 that are really loud but I cant get itunes to rip them loud enough. Any suggestions?

You could try the volume adjustment in iTunes.

    >>Right click the song(s) (you can do this with a multiple selection)
    >>Click Get Info
    >>Go to options tab
    >>Adjust volume adjustment to +100%.

You could try buying some noise cancelling headphones as well which cancel the sound around you and enxhances your music.

Ripping the songs from a cd with itunes or other software doesn’t and will not make your songs any louder!!

You can use this software to increase the decibel of the songs thus they will play louder!

      Mp3 Gain (http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net/) its free

I recommend to save the music files in an another folder when you are done.

Note: Most music files decibel(dB) are around 95.5dB – 96.4dB, increase that value to 100.05 or higher to make the songs louder.
