i bought a dvd burner and i just want to download movies to burn. I want something completely free and i want to be able to download straight from the internet. Ive tried many sites and none of them seem to actually work. Is there anything out there like this or not?

ISOhunt works fairly well as does, torrenttracker. You can usually find almost anything by searching the movie title combined w/torrent. Just make sure that it is a decent site (as in isohunt), you have very decent virus protection and that the file you are trying to download has a lot of "seeders"(the more seeders/people posting that file, the faster you will download it). There are lots of other ways to go about getting free media, such as newgroups, but that gets complicated and you need to decompress/compress files. Stick to torrents and get a good torrent downloader, like vuze or transmission.

Usually I download movies via torrent, I think it’s a good choice for download free movies from internet, you can search the torrent of the movies on the internet, and use bittorrent or utorrent to download the free movies via .torrent files. Then if you want to burn any downloaded movies to DVD to play well on DVD player, you just need to use a right software to burn a video DVD from your downloaded movies, if you don’t know what is the right software, you can try RZ DVD Creator, it can convert any downloaded movies to video DVD and burn to any DVD disc(DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-R DL, DVD+R DL, etc), and the burned video dvd can be played well on DVD player. In general the websites for downloading free movies are protected by a survey or you can search on forums.The alternative with the torrents not seems to good for me because will decrease your internet speed and are viruses out there.
