I am looking to get a mp3 player that is of good quality and versatility. I am not looking to go online. I am not looking to stream movies.
I DO NOT WANT iPODS —- NO APPLE products.
I heard the Zune was good but am up for grabs on that one.
I heard the SanDisks are good because they have a slot for upgradable memory which I really do like. Any other mp3 players out there that have upgradable memories?
A great deal would be a Sony PSP, which has a great music player with a memory card slot for upgradable memory up to 64gb. Along with music, it has a web browser, pictures, video streaming, and of course Video Games. I actually only used mine at a point for music and it is great! not all of the advanced features, but it features the basics like shuffle, repeat, party, visual music, and album art. Sandisk is also a very nice brand. What You should also consider, if you happen to be looking for a new cell phone as well, is to get a cell phone with music capability, that way you do not need to carry two device. Many companies are taking a not out of Apple’s book and including advanced music functionality in their phones.
This might seem a little confusing, cause Im confused.
I have 2 different brand of mp3 players. They both need to be recharged from the computer. When I got them, they both came with cd installing stuff n all that.
What I want to know is.
Do I have to install both the different cd’s to get them to work?
Although they both have the same type of cord that goes from the computer to the mp3 player, can I use just one or do I have to use both different cords for each of the mp3 player?
One of the mp3 player doesnt want to charge up on the computer… But I havent installed the cd for it yet. And it lets me directly put songs from the computer to the mp3 but they dont play on the mp3 player…
Sorry if its a little confusing, as I said.. Im confused about it all…
The mp3 players brands are philips & a cheap ministry of sound..
Thanks for any help
It can vary, but usually with Mp3 players that are not iPods, you don’t have to have the software it comes with it. Whatever program you use to get your music from will usually work.
But…the drivers for the player might be on the CD so you could install both
I’m not sure if this helps.
Best of luck to you!
Where can I recycle old mobile phones, mp3 players, cameras and chargers in Melbourne?
I have a bag full and I don’t like the idea of just throwing them in the trash.
Ideas? Thanks
It’s good that you’re considering recycling- Australian’s have a huge problem with storing old mobile phones around the house. From what I’ve noticed there are recycling bins for mobiles and mobile accessories in phone stores, like 3 centres in shopping centres. Have a look next time youre out and about.
i have limewire and i download movies and put them onto peoples ipods and mp3 players and make money off it. is this illegal?
If you didn’t pay for them, then yes, it’s illegal.
What is the best mp3 player i can get wit alot of features. good memory, good battery life and can play videos(not video clips) I need to know because im interested in buying one and I been told the ipod video is good but im not sure.
Just to let you know video is not played by mp3
mp3 is for music. As well, ipods play mp4 not mp3. It is designed this way to make sharing harder.

What is a better file of the two for an mp3 player that can play mp3’s and wav files? Which is better space wise?
wav files are less compressed and therefore have better audio quality, but take up more space. If space is your concern, mp3 files are more compressed and therefore smaller, so you can fit more of them on your player.
I have brought two identical mp3 players the trouble is i can sync music onto one of them but when i try the other one it comes up error every time i try and sync onto it on the screen it shows that its all conected right and i am able to drag my songs over to the right, but when i press sync an error comes up, any clues what this mite be
try using the mp3 player with the error on it on a different computer and if it works when u synchronise it then its the computers fault and maybe try uninstalling the hardware to the mp3 player and see if it works when u reinstall it i had the same problem wid my mp4 players they wont identical but i think the computer messes up if they are different devices in the usb hub and it dont like it so it might well be the computer just try it on a different computer
Does anyone know where you can get cheap mp3 players that are good quality?
clearence section of best buy
